Autumn brings excitement to Narva!
From September 22 to December 21, Narva will hold the title of Estonia's Autumn Capital. For three months, the city will become a space bursting with culture and inspiration, where everyone can enjoy music, theater, art and sports.
The music program of the Autumn Capital covers a wide variety of genres.
On November 1, the international jazz festival iDeeJazz will offer Narva residents and visitors the opportunity to meet jazz masters from around the world and treat listeners to an evening where soft improvisations and passionate rhythms intertwine with the cozy chamber atmosphere of Narva College.
On November 5, Narva Town Hall will resound with the chamber works of the famous Arvo Pärt, performed by outstanding Estonian musicians in honor of his 90th birthday. The music of this brilliant Estonian composer will fill the hall with deep contemplation and bright harmony. On November 7, the Dutch string ensemble Liberation, together with soloists Jelena Kolomijtseva (Estonia) and Adam Barro (France), will perform masterpieces of spiritual music.
In terms of sporting events, an international boxing tournament will be held on November 15 at the Vaba Lava theater center, offering spectators exciting experiences and thrills.
This season, Narva will host concerts, exhibitions, master classes, and creative meetings. Among the most important events are the EK Dance Fest dance festival, colorful concerts at the Children's Creative Center and the Rugodiv Cultural Center, concerts by the Narva Music School, meetings with actors from the Südalinna Theater, the opening of the Christmas market and much more.
